Get steady before you reply.

Anchorly is a support app for anxious and avoidant attachment. When a text, a silence or an argument sets you off, it calms your body first, then helps you see what actually happened.

Works in your phone’s browser. Breathing and crisis help need no account.

It usually starts with something small. A one-word reply. A long silence. An argument that went wrong. In that state, thinking harder rarely helps. Your body has to settle first.

Body first. Then the message.

Anchorly works in the order that helps: calm down, look at what happened, then decide what to do about it.

Settle your body first.

Tap “I’m spiraling” and Anchorly goes straight to a paced breathing exercise. No typing, no sign-up, nothing to decide while your heart is racing.

  • One tap from any screen
  • Paced at about six breaths a minute
  • Grounding and movement when breathing isn’t enough

See what actually happened.

Paste the message or a screenshot. Anchorly separates what’s on the screen from what your mind might be adding, and offers several ways to read it. It never tells you which one is true.

  • What’s on the screen, and what you’re adding
  • Several readings, none ranked
  • A reply that works either way

Reply when you’re ready.

Before you send something you can’t take back, see how it might land and what you’re really trying to say. Or hold it for a while and come back to it.

  • Another way to say it

A conversation with Sage in Anchorly

Sage listens, and tells you what it sees.

Sage, the AI companion, listens and asks what you actually know. When a thought jumps from one quiet evening to the end of everything, Sage says so, kindly. It says it’s an AI, and it never claims to know what someone else meant.

“I won’t tell you what he’s doing. I don’t have enough to know that, and neither do you yet. Here’s what we do have.”

Made for 2 a.m.

Spirals keep late hours. At night Anchorly follows your phone into a dim theme that’s easy on tired eyes, with text that never glares.

Questions

Is Anchorly therapy?

No. It’s a support tool for hard moments, and nothing in it is a clinical assessment. It can sit alongside therapy if you have it.

Will it tell me what they meant?

No. Anchorly never decides what another person meant, felt or will do. It shows several ways to read a message and helps you separate what you know from what you’re assuming.

Is Sage a person?

No. Sage is an AI and says so when you ask. It won’t play a partner or an ex, and it won’t just tell you what you want to hear.

Do I need an account?

Not for breathing, “I’m spiraling” or the crisis screen. An account lets you talk with Sage and saves your check-ins.

Which phones does it work on?

Any recent iPhone or Android phone, in the browser. You can add it to your home screen and open it like any other app.

What if I’m in crisis?

Tap the round amber button at the top of any screen for crisis lines in your region. If you’re in danger, call your local emergency number.

Next time it starts, open Anchorly.
